Tiodoro Chapa, born on January 7th, 1926 in Cuero, Dewitt County, Texas to Sabino and Maria Rivera Chapa. He grew up in Victoria, Tx and enlisted on Nov. 20th, 1945 into the United States Army until December 31st, 1946 as a Courier during WWII. and would transport Officers and Generals to their destination in Germany. He married Dolores Lopez, on November 21st, 1969 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lubbock.and they had 9 children from this union. He was a dedicated Crucerista De Colores a church organization. He worked for the Santa Fe Rail Road Co. until 1949. Also as a professional truck driver for Anheuser - Busch for several years. Tiodoro was in whole sales as a Distributor with Standard Sales Co. For several years. His Hobbies was going fishing, working in the flea market where he and his wife had a booth for years, playing cards with his grandsons. He enjoyed family gatherings. He was a devout Catholic and a long time member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
