Historical:  Susie Vargas, was born to Manuel and San Juanita Valdez Vargas in Cameron, TX on February 29th, 1960.  Susie moved from Austin to Levelland in 1992.   She was a CNA, and Rehab Mgr. at Lynwood Manor Nursing home and Rehabilitation Center of Levelland for 15 years and she also worked for Levelland Nusing Home for ten years.   Susie, married Santos Garcia on July 7th, 2001 in Levelland. 

Susie, was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church for several years.   Her passion in life was spending  quality time with all of her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed working on her rose bushes on the outside of her home , drinking her daily cold Dr. Pepper, and always taking care of others and putting everyone’s needs  before herself.   Always smiling, quiet, loving and sweet lady to everyone she’d meet.

Grandchildren:  A Host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

Sisters:  Diana Vargas of Lubbock, and Isabel Gauna of Uvalde, TX

Brothers:   Jesse Vargas and Manuel Vargas both of Levelland, and Alex Vargas of Ballinger, TX
