Ruben Salinas

Ruben Jr., attended School in Smyer during his younger years. He worked agricultural as a Cotton Module Builder and Truck Driver for over 50 years for Donny Polk at the Opdyke West Cotton Gin. His hobbies were the internet, going out to eat at a variety of restaurants, driving Module trucks, watching Westerns movies on television, playing bingo and the Texas Lottery in which he would occasionally win. Hanging out with all his family during the holidays and special events. Ruben Jr., moved to Lubbock from Whitharral in 2021. An a long time member of St .Michael’s Catholic Church of Levelland. He shall be greatly missed by his family and friends.
