Roberto "Bobby" S Gutierrez

Roberto S. “Bobby” Gutierrez was born on October 3, 1956 in Levelland to Domingo and Rosa Gutierrez. Bobby went to be with the Lord November 17, 2020. He married Diana Duarte on August 20, 2005, in Levelland. He worked for the Texas Department of Transportation and was a supervisor for the Street and Sanitation department for the City of Levelland for over 32 years. Bobby loved everybody. His hobbies included hunting, golfing, fishing, camping, dancing with his favorite girl, Diana. He was an excellent drummer, and his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Tech Red Raiders. He was a commissioner over the Softball teams in Levelland for 20 years for high school and summer leagues. Bobby also coached soccer and softball for Bobby James, and Roxann “Rodie” Gutierrez. He was a loving family man who enjoyed cooking out, barbequing, and spending quality time with his family. Above all, Bobby's true passion was his “ family”.  He was a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus for four years and Communion Minister at St. Michael’s Catholic Church for several years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and the community.

He is survived by his Spouse of 15 years; Diana Duarte Gutierrez of Levelland,

Daughters; Roxann “Rodie” (Rayonna) Gutierrez of Charleston, S.C., and Julie Ann Primera of Levelland

Son; Robert “Bobby James” (Brandy) Gutierrez of Austin, TX

Granddaughters; (3) Breanna, Baleigh, Bella, Gutierrez, Grandson; Beckum Gutierrez

Sisters; Janie (Joe) Flores, Mary (Johnny) Martinez, and Amanda (Abraham) Cuellar, all from Levelland and Sylvia (Victor) Torres of Stephenville

Brothers; Gilbert (Rosemary) Gutierrez, Albert (Betty) Gutierrez, of Levelland, David (Vickie) Gutierrez of Victoria, Eddie (Cynthia) Gutierrez, of Stephenville

Visitation and reflections of Life will be held November 19th, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland.

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday and Thursday at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held Friday November 20th, at 2:00 P.M. @ St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Levelland. Officiating will be Fr. Jonathan Phillips and Fr. Rene Perez. Music will be provided by Ernesto Febela. Interment will follow at the city of Levelland Cemetery of Levelland
