Robert was born on September 26th in Texarkana, TX to Robert Dean and Bertha Belle Wagner. Robert attended high School in Roosevelt. He was married to Misty Franklin and had three children. Robert was a professional mechanic. He worked at Gene Messer Ford for 14 years and Prock’s Automotive for 21 years in Lubbock. Robert enjoyed watching wrestling and outlaw Hot Rod Shows. He liked dirt track racing, motorcycle riding, and being a mechanic. He enjoyed keeping his front and back yard well maintained and manicured. He was good friends with the Brother Hood of Ace and 8’s bikers. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Dean Sr. and Bertha Belle Wagner.
He is survived by his son, Robert Dean (Estella) Wagner III of Slaton. Daughters; Jennifer (Jerad) Clark and Delta (Zach) Morgan, both from Gage OK. Brothers; Jeffery Dean Wagner of Gage OK, Kenneth Foster of Hamilton, TX, Hurshel Hulsey of Stephenville, TX. Sisters; Bertha Deane Creed of Gage OK, Christina Deane Hull of Lubbock, TX and Lee Cloninger of AL. 8 Grandchildren; Teagan, Rowdy, and Brantley Clark, Brendon & Tatum Wagner, Johnny, Kaylynn & Kylar Morgan.
Visitation will be held on March 24th & 25th, Tues. & Wed. from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M.
Please,with all due respect and protection for everyone present, we ask that no more than 10 persons at a time be in the Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel and keep at least 6 feet of distance.
Graveside services will be Friday, March 27th at 11:00a.m. at the City of Smyer Cemetery. Officiating pastor will be Pastor Jack Thomson.
Pallbearers are Jerad Clark, Zach Morgan, TJ Goley, Tim Tanery, Joel Prock, and Michael Hailey
