Rickey, attended Levelland High School in his younger years and worked as a Handy man doing a variety of jobs and also worked for Wayne Demsey at Arrow Fences in Lubbock for several years. His hobbies were making arrow heads with bows and home-made axes and swords, working outdoors in the yard and having a garden every summer. Enjoyed cooking for his family barbequing and liked fixing things at the ranch. He was very quiet and pretty much kept to himself, he liked drawing free hand and was very talented.
