Ramiro was born March 11, 1934 in” El Rancho Castor” in Alice, Texas to Rumaldo and Nicholasa Zapata Hinojosa. He went to be with the Lord November 12, 2020. He married Linda Salinas on July 6, 1954 in Alice, TX. He Moved to Levelland from Alice, TX in 1973. Ramiro worked as a farm and rancher for L.E. Wilson of Wolfforth for several years. He commuted daily from Levelland to work in Wolfforth. Ramiro's friends and family called him by his nickname, "El Coyote". His hobbies included listening to Tejano music, playing his accordion and guitar. He loved traveling. He loved to wear the color black. He was a Christian and cherished the word of the Lord. He greeted everyone with a smile and a wave. Ramiro shall be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by His parents; Rumaldo Hinojosa and Nicholasa Zapata Hinojosa, Daughter; Norma Hinojosa Polido Michael, Sisters; Oralia Hinojosa, Maria Romero, Ulalia (Lala) Reyes, Brothers; Raul Hinojosa, Rodolfo Hinojosa, Robby Hinojosa, Pablo Hinojosa, Rudy Hinojosa, Ricardo Hinojosa
He is survived by 3 Grandchildren, Sister; Margaret Kintero of Mission, Brothers; Renee Hinojosa of Dickens and Reyes Hinojosa of Sudown, Niece; Ms. Sarah Hinojosa of Lubbock,
Countless Nieces and Nephews.
Reflections of Life will begin at 6:00 P.M. up until service time.
Memorial Services and Reflections of Life will be Friday November 20th at 7:00 P.M. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland. Officiating will be Brother Richard Trevino and music will be provided by Johnny Vasquez. Inurnment: To be announced at a later date
