Rafael "Chuy" Gomez Constantino

Rafael nació el 24 de Octubre de 1924 en Michoacán Guanajuato, México, hijo de David y María Guadalupe Constantino. Se casó con Rosalinda Pina en 1961 y fueron bendecidos con nueve hijos.  Se mudaron a Levelland desde New Braunfel, TX en 1960. Trabajó para Levelland ISD durante 7 años y SPC durante 4 años como paisajista y también para Acción Comunitaria durante varios años.  Sus pasatiempos incluían sentarse al aire libre bajo el sol, ver boxeo en la televisión, jardinería, plantación, su perro Smokey. Sobre todo, le encantaba pasar tiempo con todos sus nietos. Rafael fue a estar con el Señor el 27 de Diciembre de 2020.

Rafael was born October 24, 1924 in Michoacan Guanajuato, Mexico to David and Maria Guadalupe Constantino. He married Rosalinda Pina in 1961 and were blessed with nine children.  They moved to Levelland from New Braunfel, TX in 1960. He worked for the Levelland ISD for 7 years and SPC for 4 years as a landscaper and also for Community Action for several years.  His hobbies included sitting outside in the sunshine, watching boxing on television, gardening, planting, his dog Smokey. Above all, he loved spending time with all his grandchildren. Rafael went to be with the Lord December 27, 2020. 

He was preceded in death by his Parents; David and Maria Guadalupe Constantino, Former Spouse; Rosalinda Pina, and Son; Rafael Constantino.

He is survived by Sons; Daniel (Norma) Constantino, David (Priscilla) Constantino, and Paul (Kelly) Constantino, all three from Levelland, Jessie (Dora) Constantino of Longview, Mike (Dolores) Constantino of Frost, TX, John (Alissa) Constantino of Morton,

Daughters; Maria Guadalupe (David) Johnson of Pueblo, CO, Rosa Linda (David) Kirsht of Leander, TX.

21 Grandchildren, 17 Great Children,

Brother; Frank Constantino of New York; Sister; Guadalupe Constantino of CO,

Host of Nieces and Nephews,

Caretaker of 22 years; Victoria Marie Montoya, and daughter Mariah. 

Visitation and reflection of Live will be Tuesday and Wednesday, December 29th and 30th, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 31st, at 2:00 P.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral Chapel in Levelland. Officiating will be John Constantino and music will be provided by Johnny Vasquez. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland.
