Pete was born on August 8, 1953 in Yoakum,TX to Pedro Sr. & Maria Guadalupe Rosales. He married Teresa Chavez on August 8, 1991 in Levelland, TX. They moved to Lubbock from Levelland in 1993. He attended College at South Plains College and received his CDL as a professional truck driver. He worked for Eagle Picher Industries, as a machinist, McLane’s for 18 years, Gandy’s Dairy, Hostess Sweet Bread Company, Frito Lay, as a Truck Driver in Lubbock. His hobbies were barbequeing, traveling, driving across country, going to pawn shops and collecting antiques, watching old movies, reading history, listening to classic rock music. He enjoyed watching sports, the Dallas Cowboys were his favorite football team, and tennis. Above all, he loved spending quality time with his family.
He was preceded in Death by his Parents; Pedro Sr. & Maria Guadalupe Gonzales Rosales, and Sister; Sophie Hernandez
He is survived by his Spouse of 29 years; Teresa Chavez Rosales of Lubbock, Daughters; Stephine Amy Rosales and Arantxa Rosales both of Lubbock, 3 Grandchildren; Alex, Anthony, Angel, Sisters; Sylvia Guzman, Linda Rosales and Virginia Rosales all three of Lubbock, Diana Rosales and Gloria Rosales both of Round Rock, Cindy Varela, and Lisa Johnson, both of Cuero, TX, Brothers; Robert Rosales, Arthur Rosales, Manuel Rosales, and Tony Rosales, from Yoakum, Marty De La Garza of South Carolina.
A Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 15th, at 1:00 P.M. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland. Family and friends will officiate and music will be provided by family.
Interment service will be announced at a future date.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
