Orlando Donavin Garza,18, passed away from this life on January 16th, 2025. He was born on February 24th, 2006, in Fort Worth, TX, to Orlando Garza and Tacy (Romo) Garza. He graduated from Frenship High School in May of 2024 and had just completed his first semester studying computer science engineering at Texas Tech University. Orlando spent his spare time being a digital creator. He loved freehand drawing and playing video games. He was an anime enthusiast whose favorites were Demon Slayer, Cyberpunk, and Death Punch. He enjoyed reading, competing in Jujitsu, and spending time with family. He is survived by his Parents: Orlando and Tacy Garza; Brother: Gavyn Garza; Grandparents: Diana Romo of Levelland, TX, Raynaldo Garza of Houston, TX, Vicky Garza of Fort Worth, TX; Godparents: Octavio and Victoria Quezada; Aunts and Uncles: Stephanie (Anthony) Castellano, Tabatha Romo, April Garza, Amber Garza, Amy (Joey) Gonzales, Raynaldo Garza Jr (Melissa English), Carlos Garza (Maria Mendez) along with cousins: Charlie Romo, Jordan Garza, Benito Romo, Kourtney Castellano, Axton Castellano, Zariah Hernandez, Angelina Garza, Carlos Maddox Garza, Analise Garza, Ray Garza III, Rayleigh Garza, Alize Garza, Alexia Garza, Rylan Baker, Cameron Gonzales, Kanen Hernandez, Kylie Hernandez, Karina Lara, Adalynn Lara, Elias Lara. As well as many greataunts, uncles, and second cousins. The family would like to acknowledge the profound impact of his best friend Otis of Colorado, who was valued throughout Orlando’s life. He is preceded in death by his cousin Destinee Garza. Visitation will be held at Head Duarte Funeral Home on Tuesday January 21st from 5:00-7:30 pm. Celebration of life services will be January 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home
