Historical: Modesta and Aniseto Cantu were married August 22nd, 1949 in Levelland and they had 7 children from this union. Her home cooking filled her families hearts with love and joy bringing many together for cherished moments that will live on forever. She worked for South Plains College as a Custodian and House Keeping for over 10 years. She has touched so many lives throughout her career over the years. Hockley County Senior Citizens awarded her volunteer of the year for her dedicated service. Also a member of the La Guadalupanas for several years at St. Michael’s Catholic Church of
Levelland. She was very loved and enjoyed spending time with all her family and friends.
