Mary was born February 1, 1954 to Pablo and Antonia Gomez Frescaz in Levelland. She graduated from Levelland High School in 1972 and graduated from South Plains College in 1974. She was a cheerleader on the Lady Texan Cheerleading Squad.
Mary worked for the Hockley County Courthouse for a total of 33 years, in the Texas Office and County Clerk Office combined. She also worked for Walmart for many years. Mary was best known for her kindness, and being an awesome mother to her son, Joseph. She loved her family dearly and she never hesitated to help others. She loved George Straight and passed that on to her son. Her passion was making arts and crafts and baking delicious cakes for weddings and birthday parties. Mary loved taking walks inside Walmart with her son. They would smile at everyone as they passed by. No one could hold a candle to Mary, as her beauty shined through everything she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Pablo and Antonia Frescaz, her brother Reymundo Frescaz, and sister Patsy Frescaz.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Frank Hinojosa, sister; Virginia "Gina" Frescaz, both of Levelland, brothers; Paul (Cathy) Frescaz of Catoosa, OK, John (Linda Kay) Frescaz of Levelland and Frank Frescaz of Mason City Iowa, and a host of nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held from 6p.m. until 8p.m. Thursday July 23rd, with the reciting of the Rosary to be held at 7p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorial Service will be Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11 A.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland Texas with Pastor Jonathan Phillips officiating, under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home and music being provided by Johnny Vasquez.
