Marvin McInturff, a beloved brother, husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 66 on November 18, 2024. Born in Levelland, Texas, to Carl Marvin and Barbara Lavon McInturff, Marvin was raised with a strong work ethic and a deep love for both his family, friends and his country. Throughout his life, Marvin worked in a variety of trades. He started his career as an oil field worker with several companies, then honed his skills as a carpenter, carpet layer, and self-employed handyman. With his diverse talents, Marvin became known as a true "jack of all trades"—always ready to lend a hand to friends, family, and neighbors in need. Marvin had a wide array of hobbies and passions that brought him joy. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, cheering for his team with unwavering enthusiasm. His love for music was also a big part of his life—he enjoyed listening to Christian music on Family Life Radio, as well as country and western songs. A man with a great sense of humor, Marvin had a special gift for making those around him laugh. He cherished his time with his best friend, Lisa Gonzalez, and the two created many memories together, often captured in photos. Marvin also had a love for classic television, particularly Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. A proud American, Marvin was a steadfast supporter of the Republican Party and a dedicated admirer of President Donald Trump. His patriotism was evident in his everyday life, and he never missed an opportunity to express his appreciation for the freedoms and opportunities America provided. Marvin is survived by his children, Ashley McKinnie of Collierville, Tennessee, Brooke Danielle of Fort Worth, Texas, Stacey Johanson of Fort Worth, Texas, Tracey Clough of Richardson, Texas, and Abigale McInturff of Levelland, Texas. Several Grandchildren . Brothers:  Rocky McInturff of Levelland and Don McInturff of Tennessee Host of Nephews and Nieces He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Marvin McInturff and Barbara Lavon McInturff. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him—his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit. A memorial service to celebrate Marvin's life will be held at Head Duarte Funeral Home. The family invites all who knew him to join them in honoring his memory.
