Martin Camarillo Obituary

Martin Vincent Camarillo passed away at home under hospice care at the age of 70. He was born October 4, 1953 to the late Virginia and Ramon Camarillo Sr in Ropesville, TX. He started his work career at Buddy’s grocery in Plainview. Worked at Pioneer seed, Funks Seed and spend 20+years as Safety Supervisor at Cargill all in Plainview. Listening to oldies was one of his past times. He loved his dogs. Most of all he loved spending time with his family! 

He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Camarillo, sisters Virginia Camarillo and Veronica Martinez. Brother in law Roland Martinez. A granddaughter Annessa. A wife of 24 years Sue Ellen Camarillo. A grandson Johnny Pacheco Jr.

Mr. Camarillo leaves behind his four beloved daughters. Yvette Martin (Lawrenceburg, KY), Elizabeth Camarillo, Danielle Camarillo and Bridget Camarillo all from Amarillo, Texas. Thirteen grandkids, 15 great grandchildren. His older brother, Ramon Camarillo II also from Amarillo, Texas. 

Nephews Ramon Camarillo III, Jaime Camarillo, Javier Martinez and a niece Vanessa Martinez

He is also survived by his step children Joe, Tino, Carmen, Ricky, Gary, Johnny and Norma Jean that he loved with his dearly departed wife, Sue.

Twenty-four grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren as well. 

Wife of 10 years, Lydia (Levelland, Tx) Step sons Robert and James and three grandchildren. 

Cremation was chosen by Mr. Camarillo. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. 

Memorials are suggested to the Plainview Animal Shelter
