Malissa was born on December 7, 1962 in Levelland to Mart and Sandra Kay Comer. She attended Levelland High School. Malissa worked as a waitress and hostess at the Mabank Café in Mabank, TX. Her hobbies were caring for people and loved being with her two grandsons and spending quality time with family. She liked Motorcycles, and watching the movie Avatar, and Django. Roses were her favorite flower.

She is survived by her Mother; Sandra Kay Flatt Comer of Levelland, former Spouse of 28 years; Stacey Redden of Levelland, Daughter; Cristi Gardner of Lubbock, Son; Cody (Courtney) Redden of Levelland, 2 Grandsons; Colby and Creed, Sister; Donna Comer of New Mexico, Brother; Brandon Comer of Levelland.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 15, at 3:00 P.M. at Studebaker ‘s of Levelland. ​Family and Friends will officiate. Music will provided by DVD and CD

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
