Librado Almager

Librado was born on December 23, 1961, in Seagraves, TX  to Alvaro & Monica De La O' Almager.    Librado attended school in Levellend, TX. When Librado met Beverly Villegas, she became the Love of his Life & they were married on February 15, 1995, in Sundown, TX. Their life was filled with joy & love, which they shared with their children. He worked at Sundown Oil Company, in Sundown & Standard Oil Company, in Lubbock as a Derek hand & pulling units for 38 years. Known to his friends & family as "Blackie" he was a family man to the very end. He raised his children with unconditional love & patience. He was a man of many hobbies which included, collecting coins, riding motorcycles, playing the lotto & scratch offs, cheering for his Dallas Cowboys, watching John Wayne westerns, reading Louis L' Amour (Western novels) & catching George Lopez shows when he made Lubbock appearances. The only thing he loved more than his hobbies was being a Popo to his grandchildren, they were his entire world & he made sure he was there for them at every school event. His Grandchildren were more precious than Gold in his life  & they will miss him dearly.

Survivors:  Those who are left to cherish his memories is his wife, his daughters Elisa (Isaac) Rangel of Lubbock, TX, Leticia Garcia of Brownfield, TX, Priscilla Almager of Levellend, TX, his sons Librado Almager Jr & Armando Villegas both of Lubbock.

 His treasured Grandchildren: (11) Cassidi , Brandon, Zavaiah , Zaylynn , Nicholas Jr., Neaveh, Nathaniel, Neomiah, Noe, Heaven & Nikki,

One Great Grandchild: Nathaniel Jr.

Siblings: Susan (Raul) Flores, Cipriano (Connie) Almager, Joe (Cynthia) Almager & Consuelo (Felipe) Lucero all of Levellend, Mickey Almager, Vivian Almager & Juancito Almager all of Lubbock & Albert Almager of Midland, TX. We will forever be grateful to God to have had a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather Brother & friend like him in our lives, his life was truly a life well lived.
