Lenora Amalla Obituary

Lenora Hernandez was born June 28, 1936 in Laredo, TX. She married Antonio Amalla  August 16, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. They were blessed with nine children. Her hobbies included crocheting, cooking, running after grandchildren, and enjoyed traveling to California to see family. She was a life time member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Anton and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Littlefield.


She was preceded in death by her parents; Gregorio and Marianna Perez Hernandez, Daughter; Christina Amalla, Sons; Julian Amalla, and Gregory Amalla


She is survived by her Sons; Michael Amalla of Littlfield, Ricky (Mercy ) Amalla of Lubbock, and Tony Jr. (Anita) Amalla of Anton, Daughters; Nora (Gary) Moore of Littlefield, Jane (Nicholas) Garcia of Greenfield, CA., and Felicia Aguayo of Kings City, CA., 23 Grandchildren, 70 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren, Brother; Lucio Hernandez of Waco, Sister; Isabel Hernandez of Idaho


Visitation and Reflections of Life will be Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland.


Recitation of Rosary will be held Thursday Nov. 5th, at 7:00 P.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland.


Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 6th, at 10:00 A.M. @ St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Anton, Texas. Officiating will be Fr. Ernesto Lopez and music will be provided by Joe Flores. Interment will follow at the City of Anton Cemetery in Anton.
