L. C. Jones, Jr.

L.C. Jones Jr. was born on October 22nd, 1944 to L. C. Sr. and Rosetta W. Jones in Streetman, TX. He graduated from High School while serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. L.C. Jr. was a widower. He was a professional independent over the road truck driver for several years. His hobby was traveling across the United States while he was truck driving. He enjoyed visiting and spending time with his family and friends. Liked reading his bible and believed in the Lord whole heartily.

Visitation and Reflections of Life: Will be held on Wednesday June 24th, from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M and June 25th, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland.

Funeral services will be Friday June 26th, 2020 @ 11:00 A.M. @ Second Baptist Church of Levelland. Pastor Michael Holster will be the officiating pastor. Music will be by Lauren Barriere. Interment will be held @ the City of Levelland Cemetery following the funeral service.

Mr. L.C. was preceded in death by his Spouse, his parents; L. C. Jones Sr. and Rosetta Wyatt Jones

He is survived by Daughters; Katherin D. Anderson of Kingwood, TX and Keisha Jones, of Houston, Son; Kelvin D. Jones of Ft. Worth, TX., 6 Grandchildren, Sisters; Shirley A. Simpson, Doris Flowers, Katherine Burns, Mary Williams, Willierine Flowers, Carolynn Jones Barriere, of Houston, TX, Brother; Roy Lee Jones of Houston, TX, Host of Nieces and Nephews
