Kenneth Royce Thornton

Kenneth was born October 5, 1952 in Levelland, TX. to Newell Thomas and Syble Inez Davis Thornton. He married Wanda Oliver August 28th, 1970 in Levelland. They were blessed with two children. Kenneth worked in the oil fields for several years. He also worked for Walmart Super Store as a customer service representative for over 30 years in Levelland. He was a spontaneous man who liked to take off traveling with his wife. He loved spending time with his grandbabies. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and attended Sunday services at Bibles and Boots Cowboy Church in Opdyke West. Kenneth went to be with the Lord December 20, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Newell Thomas and Syble Inez Davis Thornton, 2 Brothers; Gene Thornton, and Elvis Thornton, Sister; Nina King.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years; Wanda Thornton

Daughter; Latcha Lee Ann Franks of Levelland,

5 Grandchildren; Nathan Cummins, Cassie Treadwell, Tiara Price, Jason Franks, Jeremiah Franks,

Sisters; La Quita Stephens of New Braunfels TX, Margaret Pierce of Levelland, Doris Sims of Bronte, TX

Memorial Services will be held Monday, January 4th, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Bibles and Boots Cowboy Church in Opdyke West, TX. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Moore
