Joyce Lawson Stowe

Joyce, was born on March 16th, 1937  in Keota, Oklahoma to George Alexander & Georgie Beatrice Mendenhall Lawson.   She married Junior Stowe on October 11th, 1952  in Oklahoma and they had five children from this union.  She and her family moved to Meadow in 1963 from Oklahoma.   Joyce, worked for Alco’s Dept Store, Allsups Convince Store, she was a Pink Lady and worked on her family farm with her spouse for several years.  She was a foster parent, and enjoyed fishing at Lake Stamford and Buffalo Springs Lake, gardening, bird watching, spending time with all of her children and grandchildren, listening to religious music and watching religious shows as well.  Red and Black was her favorite colors, traveling to Oklahoma and White Sands N.M.
