Jose was born February 3, 1947 in Christine, Texas to Santos and Francisca O. Villarreal. He went to be with the Lord November 19, 2020. He attended School in Christine during his younger years. He married Reyna Maria Palma on May 2, 1999 in Morton. They shared 15 children from this union. They’ve lived in Morton ever since. Jose farmed for Buddy Greener for 30 years and Bill Fause Farms for several more years. His hobbies included watching westerns movies on television, listening to Mexican music on the radio, traveling, fishing, camping, playing the drums at dance halls. He also enjoyed sightseeing, cooking outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a long time member of The Assembly of God Church in Morton.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Santos and Francisca O. Villarreal, Brother; David Villarreal, Sister; Sylvia Olgine
He is survived by his Spouse of 21 years; Reyna Maria P. Villarreal of Morton,
Daughters; Christina (Jesse) Mendoza, Naomi (Jose Pacheco) Lopez, Gladys Lopez, Cheyenne Lopez, and Odalys Lopez of Morton,
Sons; Johnny Villarreal, Gilbert (Kristy) Lopez, Jesse (Crystal) Lopez, Joel Lopez, and Pete Lopez, of Morton, Robert (Sandra) Villarreal, Jessie Villarreal, and Santos Villarreal, of Odessa, Edward (Armida) Villarreal, and Joe Jr. (Sabrina) Villarreal Amarillo,
37 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren,

Reflections of Life will be held Saturday, Nov. 21st, 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M and Sunday, November 22nd, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. @ Head Memorial Chapel located at 309 N.E. 8th. St. in Morton.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, Nov. 23rd, at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Morton. Officiating will be Pastor Donnie Richard and Brent Scoggins. Interment will follow at the Morton Memorial Cemetery of Morton.
