Jose Antonio Marquez

Jose Antonio Marquez Palacios, was born on January 26th, 1936 in Santa Rosa, Chih, Chih, Mexico to Manuel and Maria Luisa  Marquez. He married the love of his life Benigna Jaquez, on April 18th, 1961, in Santa Rosa, Chih, Mexico and they had 8 children from union.   Jose and his wife moved to Levelland in 1989 from Chihuahua, Chih, MX where they have settled and raised their family.  He was a welder, work at farming and worked for over 25 years for Capital Steel Scrap Metals and Irons industry in Levelland.  He loves traveling to Mexico to visit his family and friends, and his only living brother Benito, he enjoyed going to La Plaza Merino on the Centro of Chihuahua to meet with his long time friends, they'll seat on a bench and talk for a long time and walk around town. He was a hard working  man who never wanted to quit. He enjoyed Working hard at the Steel Company.  During the weekends he will go back and forth to town, he will go eat at La taqueria to meet with his friends and expend time at Walmart seating at the bench with friends.  He always liked telling jokes, funny stories, and had everyone smiling, and laughing. He was a generous man that  loves to help his familly. He was a very loving father and grandfather he shall be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Sons: Jorge (Aracely) Marquez of Chihuahua, MX, Rudy (Patricia) Marquez and Omar (Brisa) Marquez both of Levelland, Hugo (Laura) Marquez and Damian (Ruby) Marquez both of Lubbock

Brother:   Benito (Alma Rosa) Marquez of Chih, MX

Nephew:   Alfredo (Atchalia) Marquez of Levelland
