Jesus Perez Sr. was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.

A man that served our Lord and loved his family.  He married his best friend Julia Rodriguez on September 14th, 1954 in Karnes County, Tx he was blessed with 5 children from this union.   He moved to Levelland in 1955  from  Karnes City, Tx.  Jesus, worked for South Plains College as a maintenance man for 5 years. Worked for Well Co. and Masengale Oil Co. as a Rig Operator for over 30 years.   He worked for Levelland Independent School District for 15 years and retired from the School System.  He attended Church dedicated Sundays and Wednesdays and all holy days of obligations and he was very much involved in the Mens Cursillo Movement a Cursista for several years.  His hobbies were for him and                his wife to attend  the watermelon fest in Plain, Tx yearly.  He also made it his priority

To have his yard kept up every summer and won the yard of the month one year and loved, cared and so very proud of  all of his family.

Daughters  Lupe Zubriate of Levelland, Terry (Jesse) Arriaga of Poncha Tula, Louisiana, and Mary ( Kevin) Elmore of Sundown

Sons: Gilbert (Leanna) Perez of Levelland, and Jesse Perez Jr. of Stockdale, Tx
