Jesus Manuel Laguna

Jesus Manuel Laguna was born December 25, 1967 to Tomas & Gisela Adame Laguna in Juarez, Mexico. He moved to Levelland in 1991 from Juarez, Mexico and has been here since. He worked as a farm hand and rancher in Agriculture for various farmers. He also worked at Wal-Mart as a merchandise shelf stocker and customer service clerk. His hobbies were collecting coins, going out to eat sea food, watching soccer, his favorite team was “El America Soccer Team” from Mexico, listening to Norteno & Ranchero music. He loved all his nephews and nieces as if they were his own children. He was a long time member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Levelland.

He was preceded in death by his Father; Tomas Laguna.

He is survived by his Mother; Gisela Adame of Levelland, Brothers; Robert (Mary) Laguna of Levelland and Enrique (Betty) Adame, of El Paso, Sisters; Patricia Overa and Inelda Adame both of Levelland.

Visitation & Reflections of Life will be held Thursday, September 10th, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p. m. Thursday, September 10th.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, September 11th, at 2:00 P.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland. Officiating will be Fr. Jonathon Phillip and music by Johnny Vasquez.

Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Laguna Jr., Aiden Laguna, Noel Olvera, Felix Olvera, Lore De leon, Salvador Deleon, Jesus Edwardo Adame, Luis Adame, Uriel Adame, Theodore Adame, Leonel Nicholas Adame, Daniel Herrera, Apolonio Roman

Inurnment will be at the City of Levelland Cemetery.
