Irma was born on January 16th, 1965 to Jose Guadalupe & Pauline Hernandez in Denver City. She attended school in Seagraves and Levelland High School and graduated from Levelland in 1982. She married John Joe Molina on June 29, 1991 in Lubbock. She moved from Levelland in 1993 to Lubbock. She was a Manager at Dairy Queen and also worked for Valor Convenience Store as a Store Mgr. for several years. She truly was a "very hard worker”. She enjoyed dancing, was always happy, smiling and laughing. Her favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed Pool Shark / Billiard and was always winning at scratch offs lotto tickets. She also enjoyed listening to Tejano music, some of her favorite bands were “Little Joe y La Familia”, Ramon Ayala, and Augustine Ramirez to name a few. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Guadalupe and Pauline C. Hernandez, Sister Mary Olivarz and Brother Carlitos Hernandez
She is survived by her spouse of 28 years, John Molina of Lubbock, Son Albert (Sandra) Basquez of Lubbock, 2 Grandchildren, Sisters; San Juanita (Raymond) Basquez, Patricia (Arturo) Barrera, both of Levelland, Rosa Anna (Hector) Barrera, of Seagraves, and Dora Cortez of Carrizo Springs, Brothers; Juan Luis Hernandez, Ricky (Norma) Hernandez, David (Rosie) Hernandez, all three from Lubbock, and Isidro Hernandez of Greeley, Colorado.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 29th, at the Seagraves Cemetery in Seagraves, TX. Officiating the service will be Fr. Ernesto Lopez.
