Francisco Godoy Conejo was born on March 9, 1931 to Bonifacio and Nicanor G. Conejo in Salamanca, Valtierrilla, Guanajuato, Mexico. He married San Juana Conejo in 1954 in San Fernando, Mexico. And from this union they had 10 children. Francisco was a farm laborer and was in agriculture for the majority of his life. His hobbies included playing guitar, singing English and Spanish songs, dancing, and spending quality time with his family. He enjoyed sitting in his truck for hours listening to music on the radio. He was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church of Denver City.
Visitation and Reflections of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, from 9:00 a.m. –9:00 p.m. at Boyer Memorial Chapel in Denver City.
Rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, at 7:00 p.m. at Boyer Memorial Chapel in Denver City.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 3rd, at 11:00 a.m. at St. William’s Catholic Church in Denver City, Texas with Fr. Edward Teo officiating. Music will be provided by the choir.
Interment will be held @ 12:30 p.m. at The City of Seagraves Cemetery in Seagraves
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Bonifacio & Nicanor G. Conejo, Spouse; San Juana Conejo, (6) Sisters and (2) Brothers.
He is survived by 5 Daughters; Maria Elena Conejo of Sarabia, Guanajuato, Maria Imelda Conejo of Dallas, Bertha Orlia Conejo of Villagran Guanajuato, Elida Mina Conejo of Irving, TX, Ana Delia Conejo of Phoenix, Arizona, 5 Sons; David (Veronica) Conejo of Denver City, Ricardo Conejo of Arlington, Jose Francisco Conejo of Wisconsin, Sergio Conejo of Salamanca, Guanajuato, Frank Conejo of Seminole, 14 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
