Hope Soliz, was a fun loving daughter, sister, wife, and aunt and mother to all of her nephews and nieces. Graduated from Morton High School in 1973. She married Joe Flores on June 2nd, 1973 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton. She attended South Plains College receiving her Child development certification. She was a teachers aid for Morton Independent School District. for several years. Her hobbies and joy in life was her whole family and going on vacations to Harlingen and San Antonio. Her favorite color was purple, and she was a very loving, caring, compassionate lady and willing to help anybody and everybody. Hope would go to garage sales with her cousin Wanda in Lubbock. Sport events that her nephews and nieces were part of with the Morton Indians football, baseball, basketball, track, tennis, volleyball, and golfing and attended all their Tournaments. She was their number one fan cheering and encouraging them along. She loved her Dallas Cowboy’s . She was an inspiration to all the school children she taught. Hope is a lifetime member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Morton. She shall be greatly missed by her family and friends.
