Eliverio Chavez , He graduated from Albuquerque High school.    He severed in the United States Army for 4 years during the Vietnam war era from Nov. 28th, 1958 until February 28th, 1962 Rank E-3.   He graduated University of New Mexico with his PHD in Linguistics with a minor in Bilingual    education.

 He was a professor at Texas Tech University for over 21 years taught Sociolinguistics .    He was a Musician, Body builder, he was a free lance writer, MESTIZAJE:  Introduccion a la cultura Mexicoamericana  by Author Eliverio Chavez , Ph. D. , a world Traveler, touring 75 countries.   His memory shall be cherished by all of his family, friends  and students he taught throughout the years.
