Eliseo Zapata attended school in his younger years and went on to work as a farm and rancher with his father in law for over 10 years. Then started to work in the oil fields as an Environmental Service Specialist for over 30 years in Levelland and surrounding south plains area. He married Maria Elena Rodriguez in 1989, and they were blessed with 4 children from this union. His hobbies were watching The Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed showing his talents off out on the basketball court with his son, Nephew, and son in law. His sports were baseball and basketball, especially playing it. Liked showering washing the day off of himself after coming in from a long day at work and spraying himself with his favorite colonel and brushing his hair with his hair tonic tres rosas for his best girl of 36 years. He would enjoy drinking a cold refreshment daily to relax and spend quality time with his family that he loved so very much. A great father and uncle.
Liked going out to take the children to the parades, car shows, and listening to Spanish music and country western. Talking a lot of mess in Spanish to his Kids because he never taught them the language. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
