Elijio was born to Francisco Lopez Diaz & Maria Dolores Loera Contreras on December 29, 1959 in Casa Grande, Aguascalientes, Mexico. He attended school in his younger years. He farmed for Steve Harris and David Clark in Whiteface for several years. His hobbies included being happy and laughing and he loved dancing. He loved going to casinos and he would win. He also loved playing pool and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed riding around in his car; a blue continental grand marquis. He was a Catholic.
He is preceded in death by his Parents; Francisco Lopez Diaz and Maria Dolores Loera Contreras, Sisters; Rafaela Lopez and Enriqueta Lopez
He is survived by his Daughter: Elisha Lopez (Jesus E.) Rincon of Morton,
Son; Esmond Lopez of Morton,
5 Grandchildren,
3 Sisters; Consuelo Lopez, Delia Lopez, and Marie Lopez all of Mexico
Brothers; Ernesto (Alejandra) Lopez of Sanger, CA. and Alfonso Lopez of Mexico
Reflections of Life and Recitation of the Rosary will be held Tuesday, December 1st, from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M.@ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland.
Graveside Services will be Wednesday, December 2nd, at 11:00 A.M. at City of Whiteface Cemetery in Whiteface
Officiating will be Fr. Jonathan Phillips and Fr. Rene Perez.
Honoring Elijio as Pallbearers: Jesus Rincon, Esmond Lopez, Jose Lopez, Manuel Zapata, Regino Luevano, Onesimo Montanez
Internment will be at the City of Whiteface Cemetery in Whiteface at 11:00 A.M.
