Elida Saenz was born on July 5, 1948 to Dio Polo and Luisa Rubio Saenz in Brownfield. She married Blas Jasso Jr., on August 27, 1991 in Lubbock. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to bingo, casinos, and dancing to Mexican music. She was a seamstress, specializing in making wedding and quinceanera dresses. Elida loved cooking for her family. Her favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. She also liked soccer, bowling and loved being with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 20th, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Monday, September 21st, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. @ St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland. Officiating will be Father Jonathan Phillips and music will be provided by Johnny Vasquez. Interment will follow at City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Dio Polo and Luisa Rubio Saenz, Spouse of 29 years Blas Jasso Jr., Siblings; Lupe Esparza, Juan Rodriguez, and Adam Perez
She is survived by her Sons; Pete (Sue) Diaz of Florida, Johnny (Linda) Diaz of Whitharral, Augustine (Ida) Ramirez Jr. of Lubbock, Daughters; Nancy (Carlos) Martinez, Tammy (Jesse) Ysasaga, and Lenora Ramirez all three of Lubbock, 14 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, and Sister; Delfina Puente of Levelland.
