Elias Rede Acosta Obituary

Elias, was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He married Maria Elana Diaz,on September 17th, 1969 in Levelland and they had four children from this union.  He worked as a custodian for Levelland Independent School Dist. for over 15 years and a greeter at the entrance of The Wal-Mart Store in Levelland.     His hobbies were building houses out of wooden sticks, mechanic on cars & lawn mowers, gardening, yard work & fishing.  He was a jokester and loved giving people a hard time especially his family.  Spending quality time with his girlfriend Juanita Mora.   Watching Gunsmoke, Westerns, Grit channel, enjoyed traveling & visiting with his family and friends.   He enjoyed going  on vacations with his daughter and son in law to California, and San  Antonio, TX.   Elias, shall be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Daughters:  Ester (Ruben) Tienda, Connie (Marcos Torres) Acosta, and Andrea (Nathan) Edwards all three of Levelland


Son:  Elias (Rachel) Acosta of Sundown


Grand children : (17 grandchildren)  (32 great grand children)


Sister: Angie (Sharon) Flores of El Centro,  California and Esther Acosta Villa (Dave) of Bakersfield, CA


Brother:   David Acosta (Melinda Basquez)of Levelland, Texas
