Edward was born on June 6th, 1934, in Conroe Montgomery County Texas to Mr. & Mrs. LeRoy Ballou. Ed served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War Era from 1950 to 1955 and signed up for a second term during his younger days. Ed was a born tribal member of the North American Native Cheyenne. He married Mary Fetterly on July 24th, 1975 in Auburn, Washington. They had ten children. Ed worked as a Union Carpenter in Seattle, Washington for several years. They moved to Floydada in 2019 from Tonasket, Washington to be closer to his daughter and son-in law, Eddie and Debra Burton, formally of Levelland. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and hand crafting native American jewelry. He was a supporter, sponsor, and mentor of AA for 5 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Parents; Mr. & Mrs. LeRoy Ballou, Son; Lawrence Ballou, and all of his Brothers and Sisters.
He is survived by his Spouse of 45 years; Mary Fetterly Ballou of Floydada, TX, Sons; Roy Edward Ballou, of Port Angeles, WA, Bryan Matthew Ballou of Black Diamond, WA, Daughters; Debra ( Eddie) Burton of Floydada, formally of Levelland, Evelyn Ballou of Tacoma, WA , Jennifer Joann of WA, Lisa Ballou of WA, Billie Jean Sharp of San Antonio, TX, Sandra Ashworth, Amy Louise Ashworth, both from Auburn, WA, numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, host of Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation and Reflection of Life will be held privately.
Private Memorial Service and interment will be held in Tonasket, Washington
