Edith Ann Fortner-Patterson, 98, of Levelland, passed away on December 4th, 2022. Edith was born October 26th, 1924 in McGehee, Arkansas to Eva Mae and Thurman Todd. She Married Leslie Fortner in Drew, Arkansas on July 22, 1945. They were married 34 years and had 7 children before he preceded her in death in 1979. She married Duane Patterson on November 16th, 1984 they were married for 22 years before he preceded her in death in 2007. Edith enjoyed sewing, cooking, quilting, crafting and spending time with her family. Edith is preceded in death by her husband Leslie Fortner; husband Duane Patterson; a son Terry Fortner; daughter in-law Jodie Fortner; and grandson Jerod Fortner. She is survived by her children Lonnie (Carol) Fortner of Paris, Tx; Jimmy (Jean) Fortner of Levelland, Tx, Olivia Faye (Ron) McWilliams of Amarillo, Tx; Glenn (Mara) Fortner of Midland, Tx; Jerry Fortner of Pep, Tx; and Kelvin (LeBeth) Fortner of Buna, Tx; 24 grandchildren, 37 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that loved and cared for her. The family would like to express a sincere thanks to Judy Parker for helping take care of Edith. She was a wonderful friend.
