Donnie, was born on June 17th, 1956 in Sundown to John Thomas and Ocie Mae Toston Wright.   He graduated from Sundown High School during his younger years.  Worked in the Oil fields as a Roust about for several years.  He enjoyed watching basketball, Dallas Cowboys, loved reading his bible, playing dominos, and drinking with his friends.  Enjoyed eating his sisters good cooking and watching westerns with Granny.
