Billy Wayne was born July 2, 1954 in Morton to Aron & Alma A. Chambers. He graduated from Whiteface High School. He continued his education at South Plains College. Billy married Thelma Williams in 1975 and were blessed with two sons. He worked for Texas Instruments for 16 years as a professional over the road truck driver, Robert Heath Trucking Co. for 5 years, and Knight Trucking Company for 5 years. Billy enjoyed watching old western movies, and was a great cook with his famous chili and menudo dishes. He loved listening to R & B Blues. Billy was Baptized at the First Baptist Church in Sundown.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Aron and Alma A. Chambers.
He is survived by his Sons; Coby (Shun) Chambers and Fredrick Chambers, both of Lubbock,
Daughter; Katia Wilson of Lubbock,
6 Grandchildren; Tiana Harper, Joshua, Yacmin, Caidence Chambers, L. A. McBrewer, Dre McBrewer,
2 Great Grandchildren; Josiah, & Hezekiah Harper,
5 Sisters; Margie Chambers (George) Pritchett, Beverly (Kevin) Ray, Helen (James) Anderson, Mae Chambers, and Angela Chambers all of Lubbock,
3 Brothers; Bobby (Paulete) Chambers, Chris Chambers both of Lubbock, and Gary (Belinda) Chambers of North Richland Hills, TX.,

Visitation will be Wednesday & Thursday, December 9th, & 10th, from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 11th, at 1:00 P.M. @ First Baptist Church of Morton. Officiating will be Pastor Larry Brooks and Pastor Jacky Jerome Johnson. Interment will follow at the City of Whiteface Cemetery in Whiteface.
