Barbara Mendez Cortez

Barbara Mendez Cortez,  was a fun loving daughter, sister, wife, and aunt.    Graduate from Monterey  High School  May 22nd, 1998 in Lubbock, Tx.   She married Jesus Jr. Villalpando, on July 23rd, 2000 in Levelland.   They moved to Levelland from Whitharral.   Her hobbies going to the flea market in Lubbock, watching boxing, and her favorite football team San Francisco 49er’s and collecting 49er’s memorabilia,  cooking, and going out to eat at 509 Restaurant in Levelland and Montelongos Restaurant in Lubbock.   Barbara, shall be greatly missed by her family and close friends.

Sisters:   Josephine (Fabian) Vasquez,  Oralia (Larry) Vidalurre, Blanca Mendez Ledesma, Gracie (Frederick) Harris, and Priscilla Cortez  all five of Lubbock, and Lucia Cortez of Lorenzo, TX

Brothers:   Ruben (Regina) Perez  and Michael (Cris) Castillo both of Lubbock and Phillip (Kristi) Cortez of Ropesville,  and Alfredo Cortez Jr. of West Virginia
