Artie Doris Taylor , was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
She graduated from Levelland High School in 1948 . She married Virgle Ennis Taylor Jr. on November 18th, 1957 in Clovis, N.M.. Artie, moved to Levelland from Plainview in 1986. She worked as a Clerk and sales Mgr. and customer service representative for several retail stores, Sun Country grocery Store, Bell Gas station, Town and Country and Stripes, worked at the Senior citizens and volunteered at the food bank, and drove a grain truck for H. D. Hayes, working in agriculture, cotton fields chopping weeds and picking cotton, driving tractor during the harvest season, also gardening vegetables for the public, a homemaker.
Her Hobbies were playing and working on a variety of puzzles, listening to music, gardening, sewing, dancing, reading western novels by Louis La’moore. Just loving and caring for all of her children, grandchildren, great grand, great great , and all her relatives. Faithful member of New Life Pentecostal Church in Levelland. She shall be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
