Mr. Angel “Shorty” Torrez Ramirez was born on July 1st, 1950 in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jose Luis De La Rosa Rodriguez & Hilda Molina. He moved to Morton in 1968 then moved to Whiteface in 1978 where he has lived ever since. He has been self-employed since 1984, owned and operated “Shorty’s Tire Service” in Whiteface. He married Diana Salazar on July 4th, 1995 in Whiteface. His hobbies included having a cold one every now and then and cooking/bar-b-queing outdoors.He enjoyed fishing with his best friend Richard, loved his little dog Daisy and liked hanging out with all of his friends and New Life Ministry church family members.
Angel was preceded in death by his Father Jose Luis De La Rosa Rodriguez.
He is survived by his spouse of 24 years, Diana Salazar of Levelland, Mother; Mrs Hilda Molina of Chihuahua, Mexico, 2 sisters; Guadalupe De La Rosa Molina, and Rosario De La Rosa Molina both of Chihuahua, Mexico, 3 brothers; Delfino De La Rosa Molina, and Jose Luis De La Rosa Molina, both of Chihuahua, Mexico and Jose Martin De La Rosa Molina of Juarez, Mexico, and his close friends Richard and Stacy Kirkendall of Whiteface.

Chapel Service will be held Tuesday May 26th, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland, officiating: Pastor Randy Richardson under the Direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland. Interment service will follow after the funeral service at the Whiteface Cemetery.
