Andrea was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, aunt, spouse, mother and grandmother. On August 3,1963, she married her first husband Samuel Carrasco in Pep, TX. This union was blessed with two children. They were together until 1994. Andrea worked for Morton ISD as a teacher’s aide, worked as a custodian for South Plains College where she met her second husband, Ignacio Magallanes. They married on May 23,1998 in Amarillo TX. During this time, she worked for Amarillo College and Amarillo ISD until she retired. Eventually, they returned to Levelland in 2018. She and Ignacio were together until 2019. Her hobbies included embroidering and gardening. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. During this time, she and her sisters would hit all the Christmas open houses around the Levelland. She baked and made all kinds of candies. Her greatest labor of love was making her grandson a cherry pie...which belonged only to him. 60s and 70s music were her favorite groove. Her constant companions were her loving cats. God granted her the gift of gab. She and her siblings would talk on the phone for hours...about nothing! She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Morton, St. Mary’s Cathedral in Amarillo, and St. Michael’s Church in Levelland.
