Anastacio Ponce

Anastacio Ponce nació el 15 de mayo de 1943 en Jaralito, Durango, México, de Juana Ponce Machado. Se casó con Antonia Esquivel en 1965 en Jaralito, Durango, México. Anastacio y Juana fueron bendecidos con 8 hijos. Anastacio trabajó en agricultura como agricultor y ganadero para Ronald Coleman y Freddy Brown. Sus pasatiempos incluían ver películas del viejo oeste, juegos de béisbol, jugar a las cartas, cocinar al aire libre en el Disco para su familia y amigos. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo de calidad con su familia. Anastacio fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica St. Ann de Morton durante varios años. Anastacio será extrañado por todos sus amigos y familiares.

Anastacio Ponce was born May 15, 1943 in Jaralito, Durango, Mexico, to Juana Ponce Machado. He married Antonia Esquivel in 1965 in Jaralito, Durango, Mexico. Anastacio and Juana were blessed with 8 children. Anastacio worked in agriculture as a farmer and rancher for Ronald Coleman and Freddy Brown. His hobbies included watching old western movies, baseball games, playing card games, cooking outdoors on el Disco for his family and friends. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family. Anastacio was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Morton for several years. Anastacio will be missed by all his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his Mother; Juana Ponce Machado, Spouse; Antonia Esquivel, Son; Juan Jose Ponce, Sisters; Teodora Ponce and Santiaga Ponce.

He is survived by his Daughters; Ramona Ponce Esquivel of Mexico, Ma de Los Angeles Ponce of Morton, Santiaga Ponce of Chaparral, N.M., and Alma Nereida Ponce Esquivel of Juarez, Chihuahua,Mexico, Sons; Teodoro Ponce Esquivel of Mexico, Jose Manuel Ponce of Morton, and Jose Luis Ponce Esuivel of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Sister; Maria Ponce of Mexico, 20 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.

El rezo del Rosario y Reflexiones de vida se llevará a cabo el jueves 24 de Septiembre a partir de las 6:00 p.m. hasta las 8:00 p.m., Rosario a las 7:00 p.m., en la Iglesia Católica de St. Ann, 105 N. E. 8th. St. en Morton.

Recitation of the Rosary & Reflections of Life will be held Thursday, September 24th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. @ St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 105 N. E. 8th. St. Morton

Un servicio conmemorativo se llevará a cabo el viernes 25 de septiembre a las 2:00 p.m. en la iglesia católica de St. Ann en Morton. El oficio será el P. Jonathon Phillips y el P. Rene Perez, la música estará a cargo de Johnny Vasquez.
 

A Memorial service will be held Friday, September 25th, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton. Officiating will be Fr. Jonathon Phillips & Fr. Rene Perez, music will be performed by Johnny Vasquez.
