Alicia V. Gonzales was born August 6, 1944 in Rocksprings, Texas to Clemente and Inez Velardez Garcia. Alicia graduated from Levelland High School in 1962. She married Gabriel P. Gonzales on September 1965 in Levelland. They were blessed with three children. Her hobbies included playing bingo, taking care of her family, cooking, liked reading “True Crime” and watching novelas, game shows, planting flowers, watching the Texas Rangers play baseball. “Kittie” cat was her 13 year old cat's name. She was a life time member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Levelland. 

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Clemente and Inez Velardez Garcia, Husband; Gabriel P. Gonzales, Daughter; Virginia Gonzales, Brothers; Clemente Garcia and Ramiro Garcia, Sister; Josie Garcia Rodriguez.

She is survived by her Sons; Gilbert (Stacie) Gonzales of Lubbock, and Jamie Gonzales of Levelland,

2 Granddaughters; Ivon & Myra Gonzales, 5  Great Grandchildren;  Zoey, Jasmine, Mia, Cable, Gabriela,   

Brothers; Albert Garcia of Norco, California and Raymundo Garcia of Compton, California

Visitation and Reflections of Life will be December 8th, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M.  @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland. 

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 8th.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 9th, at 11:00 A.M. @ Head Duarte Funeral  Home Chapel in Levelland. Officiating will be Fr. Jonathan Phillips, via Facebook live stream. Music will be provided by Johnny Vasquez. Interment will be announced with further notice.
