Abel Barrera

 Abel, graduated from Whitharral High School in 1979 and went to work for John David Dukatnik and Chad Pendergrass  for several years as a farm and rancher.    The lord blessed him with a son from a previous marriage.   His hobbies were fixing motors on cars as and had mechanics skills, tinkering with lawn mowers, repairing VCR’s, and other electronic equipment.  He had a numerous collection of VCR tapes of The Star Tack Enterprise series.  Liked watching Clint Eastwood movies, Spending time with his granddaughters, and with his family ,enjoyed grilling barbequing outdoors.

Son:  Steven Brian (Shauna) Barrera of Whitharral

Sisters:   Lilie (Gary) Chavez of Whitharral, Aurora Hopkins, Luz (Mundy) Garza and Isabel Chavez all three of Levelland.

Brothers:  Benny Barrera of Lubbock and Jesse (Prissy) Barrera of Giddings
